Your Olympic Campaign 2016

With the experience of 5 Olympics (Bronze Medal Sydney 2000) we can give you a lot of information about an olympic campaign.

In the moment the ISAF is on the good way to modernize the Olympic sailing. And at this stage all ISAF decisions are provisory. In May 2011 and November 2012 the ISAF will make final decisions on boat material for the Olympics 2016.

For example it is not clear yet, if we get provided/supplied boat material, or we must come with our own boats to the Olympic sailing races (ISAF World Cup, Continentals, Olympic Qualifiers, Olympics).

For sure we will get a strict one-design multihull.  We need a concept which makes it easy step into multihull sailing. Same way we must be attractive for the spectators and media in the Olympic Sailing Arena.

Where are many different roads to the Olympics and ISAF must find a way that also emerging countries can finance Olympic Sailing. But we believe Multihull Sailing can deliver the best options.

After the ISAF midyear conference in May 2011 we will come up with some facts about an Olympic campaign.
